format

Format to use to display the date as specified by the keywords supplied. See Formatting JSP content for a list of available formatting keywords. If not specified, turns the result into a string using the Java toString() method. Optional.

If you specify an id name, creates a variable that contains the associated lotus.domino.DateTime object. The variable created does not display and is only available within the life of the scope that encloses the created tag; the value remains in the page context until the end of the request. The format attribute is ignored if an id is provided. If not specified, no programmatic access to the DateTime object is available. Optional.

Locale to use to format the date that displays. If specified, overrides the locale that the browser specifies in the AcceptLang string. Use the following syntax: "<languageCode>_<countryCode>". See Locale codes for more details. By default, uses the first locale specified in the AcceptLang string for the browser. Optional.

Time zone to use to display the date. If you do not specify a value, defaults to the time zone of the server (not the browser). Optional.
